Se há coisa que diz muito sobre o Poder e a sua perpetuação, é quando este decide apropriar-se de algo que é popular. Quando decide remeter-se para o popular e para a sua representação - Neste caso apropriando-se de um nome: “Zé da Vila” e de um conjunto de estados de alma -, cujos objectivos ao fim de quase 2 meses são no mínimo contraditórios, não deixando de ser interessantes.
Nesta lógica, o Poder foi inteligente.
No coração, não ama o verdadeiro “Zé da Vila”.
